Rory McIlroy kicked off his 2025 PGA Tour season with a bang on Thursday morning. During the first round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the World No. 3 dunked a wedge on the par-3 15th hole at Spyglass Hill Golf Course for a majestic hole-in-one.

Surprisingly, this is only McIlroy’s second ace on the PGA Tour. The first came on a 214-yard par 3 at the Travelers Championship two years ago.
McIlroy is making his season debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this week. He spent the offseason playing on the DP World Tour and finalizing preparations for TGL’s debut earlier this month. McIlroy competed in his first TGL match on Monday before flying to Pebble Beach for this weekend’s tournament.
McIlroy’s ace shot him to 3-under par, where he still stands through nine holes. The Northern Irishman is two strokes back of leader Collin Morikawa, but a lot can change over the next few hours and throughout the weekend.
