Last October I welcomed a beautiful baby girl to world! Somehow we are approaching her first birthday which also means we are approaching my first year of being a mom! It has been the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. The day we came home from the hospital, my sweet friends set up a basket filled with slippers, cozy socks, a matching PJ set and so much more. I didn’t realize how special and comfortable these things could make me feel during postpartum. Ever since entering motherhood, I have continued to realize that sometimes it’s the little things that can make all the difference.

Socks, slippers, blankets, oh my! And finally, meet my cozy favorites that can give anyone those warm and fuzzy feelings! I fell in love with these slippers when I saw them in person at Nordstrom. I didn’t snag them then but so glad I ordered them! Deeming these as my designated “house shoes” – yes, you heard it right, house shoes! I’m all about keeping those outdoor germs at bay, especially with a little crawler around. I love how snug they feel on my feet while still resembling real shoes. And here at LIY, we are big fans of this blanket for under $30 and these fuzzy socks for under $20! Every year I have contemplated ordering this blanket and I finally caved! Zero regrets. It’s my new go-to blanket in our house! Cuddle up on the couch or gift one to a new mom or even newlyweds!
