The Philadelphia 76ers cannot catch a break right now.
Just when it seemed like they would finally have their stars together, Paul George suffered another injury.
The former All-Star had to leave the game in the third quarter with yet another knee injury, according to SPORTSRADIO 94 WIP.

George had already missed some time after sustaining an injury in the preseason, and he’s dealt with multiple ailments throughout the years.
Through eight games, the former Los Angeles Clippers star is averaging 14.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game on 38% from the floor and 27% from beyond the arc, well below his career averages.
The Sixers are just 2-12 after 14 games, sitting dead last in the Eastern Conference.
Of course, it’s still early in the season, and they’re talented enough to turn things around.
However, Tyrese Maxey, who also missed time with an injury, cannot do it alone.
Joel Embiid is often hurt and will most likely miss all back-to-backs this season, and there have been reports of discontent with him within the organization.
George reportedly suffered a left knee hyperextension, and how much time he misses will depend on further testing.
As of now, the Sixers haven’t disclosed more information about their star forward and his status.
But given his history of injuries, they’re more likely to err on the side of caution and keep him out for as long as needed, even if that means prolonging these struggles and dropping even more games in the next few weeks.
