The Second Annual Worldwide Ocean Movie Competition will rejoice World Ocean Day and 21 years of ocean-inspired movies from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, 503 SE sixth St. Attendees also can take pleasure in a particular presentation by Man Harvey Basis CEO Jessica Harvey and a raffle and silent public sale supporing the GHF’s training and outreach initiatives. Funds from the occasion will assist present Broward County college students with hands-on STEAM experiences in partnership with Broward County Parks and the Metropolis of Deerfield Seaside.
The occasion was made doable by a beneficiant donation from JM Household Enterprises, Browsing’s Evolution & Preservation Basis, and the Metropolis of Deerfield Seaside.
Occasion’s Tentative Schedule:
- 5 p.m. – Doorways open; friends can mingle and, take pleasure in concessions, and take part in the silent public sale
- 6 p.m. – Intro and movies program begin
- 7 p.m. – Intermission
- 7:30 p.m. – Movies program resumes
- 8:00 p.m. – VIP reception with drinks and light-weight bites (VIP ticket holders solely)
Ticket Costs:
- $20 (Scholar Admission) / $50 (Basic Admission) – Consists of popcorn, beverage and intermission presentation by Jessica Harvey
- $150 (VIP Admission) – Consists of VIP movie seats, popcorn, drinks, and a VIP Reception after the movie displays.
