The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the better teams in football right now.
They have a fantastic roster on paper and have had three consecutive winning and playoff seasons under head coach Nick Sirianni.
After losing in the Super Bowl two seasons ago and ending last season on a sour note, Philly is looking to bounce back.
One of the team’s true leaders in five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Lane Johnson recently spoke about the growth of another team leader in All-Pro quarterback Jalen Hurts.
“This offseason, he’s done a really good job of bonding with his teammates…The connection has definitely grown…Whenever he speaks, guys listen up,” Johnson told The Rich Eisen Show.

Great teams need great leaders.
Championship teams need loud voices.
That is what Jalen Hurts is starting to bring to the Eagles.
His play and work ethic has certainly grown over his first few NFL seasons.
He went from being benched in college to becoming an All-Pro signal-caller and an MVP-caliber player.
In each of the last three seasons, Hurts has thrown for over 3,000 yards and rushed for over 600 yards.
His play has helped keep the Eagles in the Super Bowl conversation despite two early playoff exits in the last three seasons.
With the addition of Saquon Barkley at running back and with Hurts having two stud receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, this Eagles team can win 10+ games easily in 2024.
But, their ultimate goal is that Super Bowl and as things stand right now, the locker room seemingly believes Hurts can lead them there.
