Apple TV+ and Apple Music have dropped a surprise holiday edition of Carpool Karaoke featuring segments with Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan and Dua Lipa.
A Carpool Karaoke Christmas features the pop stars singing a mix of holiday songs and their own hits, with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe taking over the driving from original host James Corden. The special hit Apple TV+ at midnight ET/9 p.m. PT Sunday.

In addition, Lady Gaga and Lowe debuted a bonus version of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” which has dropped simultaneously on Apple Music and other platforms.
Carpool Karaoke originated as a series of segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden before becoming a stand-alone variety series beginning in 2017, first on Apple Music and then eventually migrating to Apple TV+ for its final season, Season 5, which aired its last episode in June 2023.
The series sometimes featured singers and musicians but also actors, athletes and others across pop culture. Neither Gaga, Roan nor Lipa had previously appeared.
The series drop comes the same night that three-time Grammy winner Lipa’s concert special An Evening With Dua Lipa aired on CBS. Gaga, a 13-time Grammy winner nominated for two more this year, is coming off starring as Harley Quinn in the Joker: Folie á Deux, while Roan just scored six Grammy nominations including for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist for her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series won five consecutive Emmys in the short form series category, and has seven Emmy noms overall. It is produced for Apple by CBS Studios in association with Fulwell 73, with Corden, Ben Winston and Eric Pankowski serving as executive producers.
