After a few wild seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, which seemed to be filled with nonstop drama and constant changes on the field and to the coaching staff, superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has had enough and would prefer to be traded rather than continue playing for the storied franchise.
That said, trade rumors have started swirling again about Adams’ immediate future, with a few teams mentioned as potential trade destinations for the three-time All-Pro wideout.
One team that is getting mentioned more than most right now is the New York Jets, as it seems as though Adams would like to reunite with his former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers, with whom he had the most success playing in the NFL.
The New Orleans Saints have also been mentioned as a possibility due to Adams’ close friendship with former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.
However, it seems that Adams’ desire to play for the Jets is dominating the headlines, with Albert Breer of The MMQB claiming that the veteran wide receiver is trying to push his way to New York via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“The belief is that Adams is trying to engineer a trade to the Jets,” Breer said.

As Breer points out, the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers are also possibilities for Adams, with both teams having a need at wide receiver while also having the potential to be title contenders this season.
It’ll be interesting to see where this situation goes from here and whether Adams gets what he wants or ends up landing wherever the Raiders get the best offer.
