‘Dine with the damned’
Curse of the Sin Eater is a 2024 horror film about a poor construction worker who makes a deal with a dying business mogul to inherit billions only to discover that he has also been cursed by the man’s terrifying sins.
Directed by Justin Denton, making his feature directorial debut from a screenplay by Adam Davis and Will Corona Pilgrim. Produced by Carl Choi.
The Feared Features-The Line Film Company co-production stars Carter Shimp, Elizabeth Laidlaw, Marcelo Wright and Larry Yando.
Plot:
Rick (Carter Shimp), a poor construction worker, makes a deal with a dying business mogul to inherit his business empire and property worth billions. The deal is that once the man dies, Rick must eat a lavish meal consisting of the dead man’s corpse. In doing so, he unwittingly inherits the many gruesome sins and crimes the billionaire committed to build his fortune.
Rick’s newfound wealth and lifestyle are soon interrupted by increasingly disturbing and dangerous visions of the billionaire’s victims. Rick comes to understand that his inheritance is not a blessing but a terrifying curse that threatens his life, his loved ones, and even his very soul…

Curse of the Sin Eater premiered at Panic Fest 2024. Samuel Goldwyn Films will release the film on VOD on September 6, 2024.
