A pair of Canadians are in contention after completing their second round at the Procore Championship in Napa, Calif.
Corey Conners, from Listowel, Ont., entered the clubhouse with the best round on Friday, shooting an eight-under 64. The round was nine strokes better than his opening round and has Conners tied for fifth at seven-under with golfers still on the course.
Mackenzie Hughes, from Dundas, Ont., shot five-under 67 Friday to head into the weekend also tied at seven-under.
American Patton Kizzire holds the lead at 11-under through 15 holes of the second round.
