Broncos superstar Reece Walsh has sent a timely reminder to NRL fans, urging those asking for photos or autographs with players to act respectfully.
In an Instagram story posted on Monday, the fullback explained the importance of fans – especially older ones – treating players in the correct manner.
“If your (sic) over 10 years old and especially if your (sic) a grown adult and you don’t use your manners when asking for a photo don’t be shook when you get a no,” he said.
“We are people at the end of the day. I love getting photos and chatting to everyone but if you just put a phone in my face and demand a photo, I won’t wanna do it.
“Please and thank you goes a long way.”
Walsh has become one of the game’s most popular stars over the past 18 months, with his dominance at club and representative level making him a household name.
The 21-year-old missed Brisbane’s clash over the weekend due to concussion and won’t play again until the next State of Origin game.
