Industrialist Anand Mahindra on Monday took to X to share an image of one of many seven members of the Shompen tribe from Nice Nicobar exercising his voting rights for the very first time. He known as it as “the most effective image of the 2024 elections.”

For the unversed, the Shompen tribe, one of many least recognized and most remoted indigenous teams in India, inhabits the dense forests of Nice Nicobar, the most important of the Nicobar Islands.
